Hi, I’m Mel from Mel Clarke & Co!
With 10 years of performance experience, I have always loved to create special musical memories for people. I know that every event is unique, and love to work closely with clients to craft a soundtrack that feels personal, seamless, and unforgettable. It’s all about making your day sound as good as it feels.
When I’m not playing at weddings, you’ll find me working on my original music project ROMA, studying for my Masters of Voice Performance/Pedagogy or playing with jazz bands around SEQ. I’ve had some pretty incredible experiences over the years — from headlining QPAC with my jazz band, to singing National Anthems at Suncorp Stadium, and providing backing vocals for artists like Paulini and Hugh Jackman. All of that has shaped the way I approach every performance — with versatility, heart, and a genuine love for what I do.

Live acoustic music to set the tone from the moment your guests arrive—soft background tunes as they take their seats, your chosen songs performed live or cued for the aisle walk, signing, and recessional, followed by relaxed, feel-good acoustic vibes during canapés and cocktails as everyone mingles and celebrates. Ceremony or canapés only is also offered.
Canapés & Reception (DJ)
Start your evening with soulful acoustic sounds as you mingle over canapés and dinner. Later, get ready to hit the dance floor when the DJ turns up the energy for a party to remember.
Reception (DJ)
As the celebrations continue, enjoy vibey live acoustic music over dinner, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere, then turn up the energy with a DJ dance party to close out the night in style.
